THE FLY ESL STUDENTS WIN BIG!
At first glance, it may have been hard to tell what exactly was going on, but by mid-point in this meeting, everyone new that the Fly ESL Students had been hard at work this year. Student products were everywhere, the students who were scheduled to perform were excited, the parents showed up to support their kids, and the rest of the onlookers- the crowd was buzzing!
After a great overview of the proposed bond by the Crystal City ISD Administration, the Fly Kids were poised to perform. They did a great job! The students and this author send out a special thanks to the proud parents for their continued support, to the CCISD Administration- Mr. Villarreal- Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Allen- Assistant Super., Mrs. Ana Sulaica- Special Programs Director and Event Manager, we thank T. Ramirez- Fly Principal, J. Ramirez- Fly Assistant Principal, Maggie Rodriguez- Fly Counselor, Leopoldo Ortiz- Language Arts & ESL teacher, Estela Gutierrez- Fly LEP/ESL Coordinator, and everyone else in our school community. In this school, EVERYBODY WINS!
