On Tues., Dec. 1, 2009, the Javelinas traveled to Carrizo Springs for the first basketball game against the Wildcats. The Javelinas came up short enabling the Wildcats the win this evening. The final score was 67-57.
On Thurs., Dec. 3, 2009, the Javelinas were invited to a tournament hosted by Uvalde High School. The roster had them set to play Somerset Bulldogs then Jourdanton Indians. The Hawgs fell short at the scoreboard and returned home with two losses.
On Sat., Dec. 5, 2009, the Javelinas returned to Uvalde's tourney to face the Medina Valley Panthers and the Pearsall Mavericks. It was a slow start for the Hawgs losing to the Panthers 83-70 but managing to pull things, together the final game against the Mavericks proved to be a Hawg victory with a final score of 73-47.
