HELP FOR HAITI

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Hi, my name is Ashley DelaFuente your 5th grade B.J.M.S. Student Council Reporter. On January 27, 2010, our school invited us to go to "How To Help Night" for Reading and Social Studies. Students, please encourage your parents to bring you for fun activities and extra credit. That evening we participated in fun activities! We decorated a money donation box for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

All 5th and 6th grade classes are competing against each other. The funds we raise will be donated to the American Red Cross for the earthquake victims of Haiti. We will be collecting donations till February 26th. Our 5th grade Social Studies teacher, Ms. Hodges, will reward the class that raises the most donations with an ice-cream sandwich! Please be generous because every penny counts!!
