Javelinas Win Silver Division

Varsity Boys Win Silver Division

On Thursday, December10th, 2009, the Crystal City Javelinas Boys Varsity Basketball team participated in a tournament hosted by the Pearsall Mavericks.  The Hawgs' faced Bourne, and after a hard fought battle come out with a loss.  Friday, December 11th, 2009, the first game, was a loss to Somerset.  The second game proved to be a win against Pearsall, thus securing a spot for the Mighty Hawgs on the Silver Division bracket.  On Saturday, December 12th, 2009 the Hawgs' first challenge was against Cotulla which proved to be victorious.  A second challenge against Pearsall was also successful as the Javelinas returned home with the 1st place title.

 Tuesday, Dec.15, 2009, the Javelinas traveled to Cotulla and came out short in overtime with the final score of 90 to 87.
