REAL WORLD CONECTIONS!
Hello, this is Jonnae Flores, your 2009-2010 BJMS reporter. I would like to share with you all about our latest learning excursion. On Wednesday December 9, 2009, Benito Juarez students enjoyed one of the best experiences at the Witte Museum in San Antonio. From riding a bicycle 30 feet in the air to real life science, and some really interesting mummies, BJMS students saw it all. Out of everything, my favorite part was the mummy exhibit because it was so deep into history. We were able to see x-rays inside the mummy. Many thanks to our staff and students for helping our fundraisers which allowed us to experience this amazing place; I hope to return to the Witte Museum soon!
